COLORFUL launches high-performance CVN Z790D5 ARK FROZEN motherboard

COLORFUL has announced the launch of its latest motherboard, the CVN Z790D5 ARK FROZEN, designed for Intel's 12th, 13th, and 14th Generation Core processors. The new motherboard boasts DDR5 memory support and four PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs, catering to high-performance computing needs.

The CVN Z790D5 ARK FROZEN features a robust 14+1+1 digital power phase design with 90A high-spec DrMOS VRMs, enabling it to support top-tier Intel Core i9 processors. Its design, inspired by CVN-class battleships, showcases a titanium gray color scheme across the heat sinks and PCB.

Connectivity options include a 2.5 GbE ethernet port and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3. The motherboard is equipped with a PCIe 5.0 X16 slot, compatible with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, and an additional PCIe 4.0x4 slot for various add-in devices.

Notable features include four PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for high-speed storage, alloy-reinforced memory slots supporting up to 192GB of RAM, and extensive USB connectivity. The motherboard supports memory overclocks up to DDR5-7800MHz and includes a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port with 30W PD fast charging capability.
