HP launches Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop with AI features: Price in India, specs and more

HP has launched its AI-enhanced Omen Transcend 14 laptop series in India. Aimed at gamers and content creators, the gaming laptop comes with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics and the latest Intel Core Ultra processors. It also gets built-in AI with Otter.ai for features like live transcript and real-time captions during meetings or classes, a record function for transcribing audio, and AI-generated notes.

The HP Omen Transcend 14 is available in HP World Stores and HP Online stores at a starting price of Rs 1,74,999 inclusive of HyperX premium bag worth Rs 7,787. The company said that consumers can also get free HyperX mouse and headset on the purchase of Omen Transcend 14.

HP Omen Transcend 14 sports a 14-inch IMAX Enhanced Certified 2.8K 120Hz VRR OLED display, and is claimed to be the world’s first gaming laptop with a lattice-less sky printed RGB keyboard. Under the hood, it comes with Intel Core Ultra processors and a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI-based video features and gets an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 graphics for AI-enhanced gameplay.

The HP Omen Transcend 14 gets a new cooling system which it co-engineered with Intel. The chassis pulls in air and, using a vapour chamber, creates a pressurised zone to blast heat out through the rear vents. HP claims that this system makes it the coolest 14-inch gaming laptop in the world.

The HP Omen Transcend 14 weighs 1.6kg and is claimed to offer up to 11.5 hours of battery life. It comes with a USB-C port along with an HDMI 2.1 output, a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port and two USB-A ports. It is also the world’s first gaming laptop with audio tuned by HyperX, HP says.
