Oppo Reno 15 series to launch in India today: How to watch livestream, expected features, price and more

Oppo is set to launch its Reno 15 series in India today. The company has revealed that the series will consist of three devices this year – Reno15 Pro, Reno15 Pro Mini and Reno15. All three handsets are claimed to offer “long battery life, class-leading durability, and a smooth, intelligent software experience.” Oppo says that the Reno 15 series will blend “powerful hardware and Oppo’s PureTone Technology with intuitive AI features”. Both Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro are confirmed to come with a 200MP ultra-clear main camera which Oppo claims is “designed to handle a wide range of travel photography scenarios.” As announced by Oppo, Reno 15 series will be launched today at 12pm. The launch event of Oppo Reno 15 series will be live streamed on Oppo’s YouTube platform. Those interested can head to the company’s official YouTube channel to watch the livestream.Ahead of the launch, Oppo has revealed some of the features of the upcoming series. According to it, the series may offer 200MP main camera which may be paired with a 50MP 3.5× Telephoto portrait camera. There will also be a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 100° field-of-view.For selfies and video calls, Oppo Reno 15 series will feature the company’s Golden ultra-wide portrait perspective that helps keep facial proportions natural at everyday shooting distances, even when using wider angles.Oppo has also confirmed AI features coming with the series. These will include AI Editor 3.0 offering AI Portrait Glow, AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo tool and more. The AI Portrait Glow will analyse the scene and adjust lighting to suit it. While the AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo tool converts motion shots into motion photos to clean up, helping users refine moments after they are captured.According to reports, the Oppo Reno 15 – base model under the series may be priced below Rs 50,000. The Reno 15 Pro is said to come with a higher price tag, while the Reno 15 Pro Mini may be priced under Rs 40,000.
