Blue Cloud Softech signs MoU for technology-driven socio-economic projects in Africa

AI-driven enterprise solutions company, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited, has signed an MoU with Global Council for Investment and Business (GCIB) for Africa Ltd to collaborate on several strategic initiatives in the continent. The primary focus, according to the MoU, is the development of a ‘Digital Factory’ in Senegal and other technology-driven socio-economic projects in Senegal and other African countries.

The non-exclusive MoU between Blue Cloud Softech and GCIB will also explore the formation of a joint venture entity, special purpose vehicle (SPV), or other collaboration arrangements to execute projects in the African countries. The entities will also consider creating a separate sector-specific SPVs or JV in renewable energy, IT, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other sectors.

While Blue Cloud Softech will provide technology solutions, platforms, domain expertise and technical manpower, GCIB will provide local market intelligence, liaise with government bodies for land allocations, approvals, necessary permits, and support its investor outreach.

According to the AI enterprise company, Senegal is currently one of Africa's most stable and tech-forward economies, making it an ideal for its plans to expand its footprint in the continent. The company is said to be moving beyond basic IT services, which includes clean energy for data centers and AI-driven cybersecurity, both of which are high-demand sectors in the African market.
