Donald Trump says George Soros and his 'Radical Left' son Alex Soros to be charged under RICO; Elon Musk responds

Donald Trump recently said that philanthropist George Soros and his son Alex Soros should be charged with criminal charges for supporting ‘violent protests’ around the country. In a post on social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote “George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America.” Tesla CEO Elon Musk and former Trump ally backed the US President, stating “High time action was taken against Soros directly”. Musk was commenting to a post by American YouTuber and commentator Benny Johnson who shared Trump’s post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Here’s what Trump wrote on X

“George Soros, and his wonderful Radical Left son, should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America. We're not going to allow these lunatics to rip apart America any more, never giving it so much as a chance to "BREATHE," and be FREE. Soros, and his group of psychopaths, have caused great damage to our Country! That includes his Crazy, West Coast friends. Be careful, we're watching you! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”



In the post, Trump cited the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act or RICO that has been used by prosecutors to send numerous mafia figures, including former Gambino crime family boss John Gotti, to federal prison.

When Elon Musk likened George Soros to Star Wars villain

Elon Musk and George Soros have had a tense relationship in the past. Earlier this year in January, Musk likened Soros to Darth Sidious, the scheming Sith Lord from Star Wars after he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by the then US President Joe Biden.


He then shared a post on X captioned “George Soros looking quite good here. Must be the lighting”, accompanied by a photo depicting Soros as Sheev Palpatine.
