IT services company Kellton Tech Solutions has launched Phoenix.AI, an agentic platform that transforms legacy enterprise systems into cloud-native microservices. It shortens the multi-year transformation timelines into a matter of weeks, according to the company’s estimates, accelerating modernization by up to 80% and cutting down on costs by nearly 50%.
Phoenix.AI operates through a continuously running, agentic transformation framework that automates the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise code modernization, including analysis, decomposition into microservices, conversion, validation, remediation, and quality assurance. The platform's built-in self-correction and execution intelligence improves engineering productivity, accelerates release cycles, and strengthens transformation outcomes through accumulated delivery learning. The platform also ensures that the transformation preserves business reliability, governance and continuity.
According to Kellton, Phoenix.AI has already been deployed across enterprise engagements to deliver their legacy systems, powering one of the largest AI-led code modernization programmes for a US-headquartered global enterprise software leader. It involves the migration of more than 4 million lines of source code from Progress ABL/OpenEdge to a modern Microsoft .NET Core and Entity Framework stack, re-engineered into a fully scalable, cloud-native microservices architecture. This programme spans 12 core business modules, including Purchase, Production, Sales, Common Services, and other operational domains forming the backbone of the client's flagship enterprise platform.
