• Begin by visiting the Passport Seva portal and selecting the New User Registration link.
• Provide accurate details and choose the passport office you intend to visit.
• Enter the CAPTCHA characters and proceed by clicking the 'Register' button.
• Log in to the Passport Seva portal using your login ID and password.
• Navigate to the 'Applicant Home' page and select 'Apply' for either 'Fresh Passport' or 'Reissue of Passport.'
• Opt for the second option in the list, which includes a 'Click here' button to access the online application form.
• Fill in the necessary details, including the type of application and passport booklet.
• Click 'Next' to go to the next step.
• Choose the 'View Saved/Submitted Applications' option.
• Click on 'Pay and Schedule Appointment' to make the payment for reissuance and schedule your appointment.
• Opt for 'Online Payment' to proceed with internet banking, credit, or debit card payment. Alternatively, select the 'Challan Payment' option if online payment is not available.
• Click 'Next' to continue. You will need to select a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) location and print the application receipt.
• Upon receiving the receipt, visit the designated Passport Seva Kendra or Regional Passport Office as per your appointment.
• Bring along your original documents along with the application receipt. If you have received an SMS confirmation of your appointment, you do not need to carry the physical application receipt.
