Indian farmers
by sitting on protests against the recently passed farm bill.
In this photo, Trudeau can be seen sporting a red patka (sacred head covering worn by
Sikh men).
The photo is being shared by several influential Facebook pages and groups.

It is being circulated on micro-blogging platform Twitter as well.
TRUTHThe photo is from 2015, when Trudeau visited a Gurdwara in Ottawa to celebrate the start of Diwali.
VERIFICATION AND METHODOLOGYUsing reverse-image search, we found a news
post dated November 13, 2015 from New Straits Times, which carried the same image.
The picture is captioned ‘Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau listening to speeches at the Gurdwara Sahib Ottawa Sikh Society in Ottawa’. It is credited to news agency Reuters.
Taking a cue from this, we
located the original photo on stock photography website Alamy. As per the description, the photo was clicked on November 11, 2015.
A local Ottawian website also
reported about Trudeau’s Gurdwara visit.
It should be noted that despite India’s warning, Trudeau has repeatedly meddled into farmer protests by making “ill-informed” remarks.
