With National Testing Agency in crisis, should JEE, CUET, UGC-NET return to pen and paper examinations?

Dismayed at getting just six marks in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET-UG 2020, Vidhi Suryavanshi from Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh, ended her life. Her parents later found that the National Testing Agency (NTA) that conducts the exam had made an error and her response sheet revealed she had actually scored 590.
Established in 2017-2018 to make India’s competitive examination process smarter and less stressful, the NTA has fallen woefully short of expectations.
