Amid escalating crime rates in Palamu, six suspects have been placed under judicial custody. Among them is Saif Khaleefa, arrested for opening fire at a shopkeeper over a petty financial issue, while Rishabh Singh is charged with shooting a police constable.

Palamu has witnessed a surge in criminal activity, leading to the judicial remand of six individuals connected to various offenses. These range from a shooting ignited by a petty argument and an assault on a police officer to a land dispute that ended in murder and a brazen theft.

In a heartbreaking case from Daltonganj, a 22-year-old woman passed away only hours following a C-section procedure for a non-viable pregnancy. The incident has led to serious accusations of medical malpractice against the private hospital involved. In response, health officials have taken immediate action, closing the establishment and launching a criminal case against it.
