As the title suggests, Suvendu Das’ next film ‘Save The Mothers’ is an ode to motherhood and the struggle a single mother faces while raising up her child.

More than 170 people had died on December 14, 2011, after drinking hooch allegedly manufactured by Khora Badshah in areas like Sangrampur, Mograhat and Mandirbazar in South 24-Parganas. So intrigued was director Arun Roy by Badshah’s confessions that he had decided to use the lines in the script of his second film, ‘Cholai’.
