For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, Sandalwood (Kannada Film Industry) is on its way to making a movie based on the Locked-in Syndrome.

HYDERABAD: Five independents and one candidate belonging to the Akhil Bharatiya Jana Sangh have filed their nominations for the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad mayor’s post on Wednesday. In all 14 candidates have filed papers so far.

For the first time in Indian Film Industry, Sandalwood is making a movie which is based on the Locked-in Syndrome, Directed by raghu s p and starring Murali Gundanna, Ameeta Kulal, Ritvvikk Mathad and Deeptii Mohan in the lead roles, the film is titled ‘Gift Box’. The story of ‘Gift Box’ is based on human trafficking and the rare neurological disorder of the ‘Locked-in Syndrome’.
