The makers of Nikhil starrer ‘Mudra’, revealed that 50 percent of the film’s shoot has been completed. Directed by TN Santhosh, the film is a remake of 2016 hit Tamil film ‘Kanithan’.

Young actor Nikhil, who was last seen in the campus drama ‘Kirrak Party’, is teaming up with the noted producer Tagore Madhu for the remake of Tamil film ‘Kanithan’, which is being titled in Telugu as ‘Mudra’. The movie is penned and directed by TN Santhosh, who has helmed the original version.

The release date of the Nikhil Siddharth starrer ‘Arjun Suravaram’ has reportedly been pushed to May 1, due to the Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, sources close to the film’s unit revealed.

Synopsis: 'Kanithan' featuring Atharva and others is set for its television premiere this weekend. The film is all about Gowtham, an investigative journalist, who is arrested by the police for using fake certificates. With his career at stake, Gowtham uses all his skills to expose the dangerous counterfeiting racket.

The 108-second trailer introduces Nikhil as an investigative journalist in a TV channel. His life as a happy-go-lucky guy with a nice family and lovely girlfriend (Lavanya Tripathi) turns upside down when he gets arrested for producing fake Degree certificates and cheating banks.

In a run-up to the release of the film, the makers of Arjun Suravaram have unveiled yet another poster from the romantic action entertainer. Featuring Nikhil Siddhartha and Lavanya Tripathi, the new poster indicates that the film will also focus on the romance between the protagonists. The poster depicts the duo is seen kissing each other.

After signing a film with ‘Kumari 21 F’ director Palnati Surya Pratap, Nikhil Siddharth is all set to take his long-delayed project onto floors.

After surprising the trade pundits by accumulating Rs 4.1 crore gross on the opening day, Arjun Suravaram made a merry on its maiden weekend. According to the makers, the film has collected a worldwide gross of Rs 12.3 crore in the first three days of release.
