Filmmakers Atlee and Bala have lauded Somidharan's survival drama 'Neelira,' released on April 3. Atlee praised the film on social media, calling it an "awesome film" and urging audiences to watch it in theaters. Bala described 'Neelira' as a "sacred cinematic experience," highlighting its emotional depth and authenticity, and linking it to his mentor Balu Mahendra's vision for meaningful cinema.

The trailer for 'Neelira', a film set in war-torn Northern Sri Lanka in 1988, has been released. Backed by Karthik Subbaraj and Rana Daggubati, the movie, directed by Somitharan, focuses on the emotional struggles of ordinary people caught in conflict, inspired by real memories. The film is set to release on April 3.

The film directed by S Bharath will have Prabhakaran in the lead role.
