A Hindu party has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court regarding the Bhojshala complex dispute. The Madhya Pradesh High Court ruled the site a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, empowering the Centre and ASI to manage it. The court also set aside a 2003 order allowing Friday namaz, suggesting the Muslim community seek alternative land for a mosque.

The Hindu Front for Justice informed the Madhya Pradesh High Court that ASI's scientific survey report supports their claim of a temple predating the mosque at the Bhojshala complex. Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain presented evidence, including inscriptions and idol remains, citing the ASI's findings. The court allowed highlighting relevant report portions amidst objections.

In a significant turn of events, the Indore High Court has directed both state and central governments to address a Public Interest Litigation that addresses the contentious Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Masjid site.

A recent Archaeological Survey of India report on the Bhojshala complex has reignited calls to repatriate the vagdevi idol from the British Museum. The ASI's findings suggest the site incorporates remains of ancient temples, bolstering claims that the idol belongs to a vagdevi temple. Devotees and activists are urging the government to bring the centuries-old artifact back to India.
