The Villager has two distinct sides to its personality. By day it’s a popular lunchtime hotspot for the city’s young and powerful, having been called ‘the most opinion-forming bar in Scotland’, while in the evenings it becomes a trendy cocktail bar with DJs playing funk soul music to city gals and gents.
They're given the retro décor a few quirky touches - there are robot murals on the walls and Anchorman quotes in the menu - making the atmosphere fun and relaxed by day and buzzy by night. This is a great pre-party cocktail pitstop.
