The indelible urge to wander, sets forth plans to some well trodden and some not so well trodden paths. The decade and a half passion for traveling has built up a healthy repertoire that spans North American cities, exquisite Canadian wilderness, extensive Europe chronicling historic metropolis, resort towns, Aegean sea & Mediterranean sea towns, majestic alps as well as medieval towns and villages, urban Australia, a tryst with New Zealand’s cities, towns and untamed wilderness, the best of South Africa and a sojourn in Asian countries. The glacier treks of New Zealand, lakes of the Banff National Park (Canada), the medieval towns near Florence, the photo-worthy bridge city of Ronda (Spain) are just some ventures whose memories kindle a desire to write!

Take a bus or taxi, and reach uphill to the Roman bath ruins in Cimiez. Let your imagination re-construct brick by brick, for what would have been a social hub during the reign of the Romans. Constructed meticulously by man, dilapidated mercilessly by time! By all means, you won’t miss Le Jardin des Arènes de Cimiez, beautiful Italian-style gardens with olive trees. I urge you to pack up lunch and enjoy it with spectacular views of Nice! Also, you won’t falter in noticing old men playing with metal balls called Pétanque. Jovial old retired men, with a bottle of beer in hand, bantering with their buddies, and I know where I will be when old! Other notable attractions include Musée Matisse, which you may visit based on your interest, but even if you don’t, do stop by for a view of the interesting reddish-orange building which houses it.
