One of three Rainey Street houses-turned-bars owned by entrepreneur Bridget Dunlap, the sports-themed Bar 96 is more polished than her Lustre Pearl bar but not as sleek as Clive Bar. Built in 1907, the house has a charming and slightly run-down feel, and retains its original pressed-tin ceiling and hardwood floors. When the weather's nice, they open every door and window, and the bar feels like one big covered patio.
With TVs in every indoor and outdoor space, Bar 96 attracts sports fans of all ages. After the big game, you can play Jenga, checkers, or the ever-popular cornhole, which - as the name implies - involves tossing a bag of corn into a hole.
