Talk of the town: As the name suggests, it's a club for pipe smokers with over 400 members, but non-smokers are also welcome.

If you spot what looks like a lively house party going on in one of the Placa Reial's third-floor apartments, just follow the line of thirsty people across the square, ring the bell and head up the stairs.
Once inside this 19th century apartment-turned-bar, you’ll find a series of interconnected rooms packed with a friendly crowd, cabinets filled with smoking paraphernalia and a pool table. You might have to fight your way to the retro-fabulous wood-panelled bar at weekends.
