The island is located in the Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence River right in the middle of the United States and Canada. It is also known as the Smallest Island in the World with 3300 sq ft space. The space is literally enough for a tiny house surrounded by a few trees.
Simping Island, Indonesia
Next on the list is Simping Island in Indonesia’s East Nusa Tenggara province. This pretty tiny island in the Flores Sea is also famous for its limited land area. Most of the space here is occupied by sandy beaches and vegetation but the beauty of the island lies in the stunning views of the surrounding waters which is ideal for snorkeling and diving.
Dangar Island, Australia
Dangar Island is a tiny island in the Hawkesbury River in New South Wales, Australia. This island is only 22 hectares but still it comprises a cute little community. There’s a school, and even a tiny park. The island can only be reached by ferry from Brooklyn and is full of natural spendour.
Little St. Simons Island, Georgia
On number fourth spot is the Little St. Simons Island. Situated off the coast of Georgia, USA, the island is quite small with 2700 acres. Though the island is larger as compared to some other small islands around, it is important to note that the island is a private nature reserve offering eco-tourism experiences to visitors. The island boasts pretty beaches, salt marshes, and rich wildlife.
Sea Lion Island, Falkland Islands
Sea Lion Island is a part of the Falkland Islands. It is a small island spread over 1400 hectares (3,460 acres). Despite its small area, the island is noted for its rich wildlife, which includes sea lions, penguins, and a range of seabirds. It is also one of the best spots for wildlife lovers, offering excellent opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife photography.
