As COVID-19 lockdown takes over the entire Eruope, all of the popular art galleries, and institutions are temporarily closed, artists are self-isolated in their homes. But, artists in Berlin have found a way to beat their boredom, and present some fascinating works of art to the world from their balconies. Berlin balcony art is currently going viral all over the internet.
One of the most eye-catching installations was a piece called Tin-Can Tabernacle by artists Alisa Margolis, and Jeremiah Day. It showed two tin-can phones attached by a string. The idea was to represent a fractured, and distanced experience during these times of social distancing, and to hope for a connection.
Germany has had 147,065 cases of coronavirus, with 4862 deaths as of now.
