Indian Railways has introduced all new summer-special trains for tourists. This summer, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is trying out new ways to make sure tourists enjoy their holidays.
The first all-AC tourist train was flagged off on May 4, 2018, while several trains, for different routes, will also start running on the tracks in the coming days. Only tourists will be able to travel in these trains, for these trains will be driven around popular travel circuits. A dining car will also be there in this special tourist train. As per the Indian Railways, these exclusive trains will be the only ones to boast of a dining car.

The train tours offered by the IRCTC will also include the following features — AC/non-AC hotel accommodation for night stays, sightseeing, AC/non-AC travel by road, security, on-board and off-board vegetarian catering and many more.
