Tourism in Switzerland has taken it a notch up through a great new initiative in Geneva. Free gift cards in Geneva are being given away to tourists. Yes, you read that right, the gift card is worth $109 or somewhere about INR 8089, and you can use it at various places across the city. These include more than 60 hotels, 15 excursions, and about 80 restaurants. So it definitely is a great deal for tourists visiting Geneva. The gift card is only available for visitors who have booked at least two nights of hotel accommodation in the city of Geneva.
The widely popular Swiss destination is an outstanding destination for tourism, and during this pandemic time the gift-card deal is surely going to lure a lot of visitors. Besides the gift-card, you would be happy to know that there is something called a Geneva Transport Card, which you get if you stay in a hotel, youth hostel, or even a campsite. There is also free Wi-Fi available at certain places, such as the lakefront, Botanical Gardens, Plaine de Plainpalais, among others.
Geneva is also home to the World Health Organization, World Trade Organization, International Committee of the Red Cross, branches of the World Bank, and the United Nations.
