One of the most frequented attractions in Kyoto the shouldn’t be missed at any cost is the fascinating Heian Jingu Shrine and garden, listed as one of the important cultural property in Japan.
The vivid orange color of the shrine buildings sprawled in a vast courtyard sprinkled in white sand and disheveled stonesis hugely inviting the moment you step your foot onto it. The best part of the shrine is that you don’t really have to visit all the shrine buildings to appreciate its beauty; it really stands out clearly even from a distance.
