Gujarat is now home to India’s first dinosaur museum and Fossil Park at Raiyoli village, which is located near Balasinor town of Mahisagar district. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani recently inaugurated the park, which is now ready to entertain visitors too. Read less
The CM while inaugurating the park further stated that the state government would be allocating INR 10 crore fund to promote this spot for tourism internationally. Referring to this, he added that Gujarat will soon feature on the world tourism map, and that this museum will be the latest addition to it.
Further, the said museum has a lot to offer to those who are very keen on exploring the ancient reptile with detailed information from its origin to extinction.
Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. has built this entire infrastructure. And as per the latest reports, a society has also been formed to maintain and operate the museum.
