A recent survey has revealed that India is currently beating global destinations, as more than 50 per cent of Indian travellers are choosing domestic destinations this year. Summer destinations in India are all the rage this year, beating most international destinations as Indians are choosing budget travel.
Almost 15 per cent of these respondents said that budget travel options such as homestays are a better choice than hotels. According to the survey, the reason for budget travel being a popular choice is the increased frequency of travel.
