IRCTC’s latest offering, Train 18, is soon going to begin operations on the Ghaziabad-New Delhi-Palwal route. The National Capital Region is going to be gifted by the latest offering from Indian Railways, and as per a report, the electric multiple unit train has some top-notch passenger friendly facilities.
According to reports, the current EMU trains can run 95 km per hour, and the new EMU trains can run at 110 km per hour. The new trains have digital control panel inside driver’s cabin, which would help when there are any disturbances in operating the train. A lot of amazing facilities are in place for travellers, such as women’s only coaches, screens in every coach, and GPS installed for women and children’s safety.
The Railway Ministry, according to the Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal, has manufactured 6037 coaches in this financial year. In the last financial year, only 4470 coaches were produced by the ministry, indicating a 35 per cent rise from the last financial year.
