One of the numerous temples run by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in India, this temple is also known as the Sri Radha-Parthasarthy temple. Situated on a hilltop in East of Kailash, it is easily accessibly via the Nehru Place Metro Station. The main temple lies inside a spacious hall with three shrines for Hindu gods. Inaugurated in 1998, it also runs a regular multimedia show on Hindu mythology and philosophy using dioramas, robots and a quadrascope. There’s a gallery of paintings on the Ramayana and a large animate video globe on the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. There’s also a library with a collection of spiritual books. It also houses a good vegetarian restaurant called Govinda’s, which serves as many as 18 wholesome dishes as part of the lunch and dinner buffet.
