As per the latest reports, the Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Purana Qila, Humayun’s Tomb, and Safdarjung’s Tomb, which are being lit up daily, will be illuminated in a special manner today, i.e., on World Heritage Day. As per the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), these monuments will get illuminated with special lightings, i.e., with candles and diyas.
In Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar, the ASI will be lighting candles and diyas to express solidarity to the 'corona warriors'. However, ASI Delhi Circle will also organise diya lighting ceremony at Red Fort and candle lighting ceremony at Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb to express solidarity with all corona warriors like sanitation workers, police officers, doctors, and civil administration, the ASI stated.
