What was once a country that was entirely ravaged by the atrocities of the Second World War, Luxembourg is now an epitome of resilience and assiduity. It is one of the richest countries in the world and the affluence shows in the lifestyle of the residents of the capital. What was once a country that was entirely ravaged by the atrocities of the Second World War, Luxembourg is now an epitome of resilience and assiduity. It is one of the richest countries in the world and the affluence shows in the lifestyle of the residents of the capital. The wine flows freely, the food is lavish and every bit of the capital city is congenial right from the forested hills and meadows to the medieval fortresses. Perhaps for the longest time that I was in Luxembourg, I thought I was on the set of Game of Thrones. The city belongs to a bygone era and yet it is a majorly developed one, capable of meeting all modern standards.
