Museum of Words to open in Washington DC in October

Have you ever been to a museum of words? Washington DC is soon going to open up a museum that is dedicated to words. Planet Word is an interactive museum is going to open in Washington DC in October 2020 after getting delayed due to the pandemic. It is located in the Franklin School and is going to be a great institution to teach us all about spoken, sung, and written words. Interestingly, it was on the rooftop of this Franklin School where Alexander Graham Bell had made his first wireless transmission with the help of his photophone.
This unique museum occupies 51000 sq ft space and is going to attract a lot of curious visitors. As general admission to the museum has been kept free, it is undoubtedly going to be a big draw. Claiming to be the world’s first museum that is dedicated to language arts, it has immersive galleries, and also a unique voice activation feature. Visitors of all ages can get a deep insight into words and languages.


While excited to open the museum in October, the need for safety is not lost in the museum authorities. All measures have been taken to make the experience a safe one for visitors.
