A perfect place for those who want to soak-in the beauty of nature and enjoy an extraordinary place, it is located about 50 km away from Warangal, and can be accessed by road. The stunning lake was constructed way back in 1213 A.D. during the Kakatiya dynasty rule. This lake in fact located by beside the Pakhal Wild Life Sanctuary, and hence is home to a great variety of wildlife. You can spot some wild animals roaming about freely, such as deer, bear, or even a leopard and tiger if you are lucky enough.
