Keep behind the fear of heights if you have any and get set to go on the tallest structure in Dusseldorf! The Rhine Tower or the Rheinturm, as known locally, is a telecommunication tower that stands about 240 metres tall. It houses a revolving restaurant and an observatory at the top and a digital clock in its shaft. A panoramic view of the city can be enjoyed from here. A walk around the observatory gives you a glimpse of almost every corner of the city. Be it the city’s landmark locations like the MedienHafen (or Media Harbour, which has many architecturally different and commercial buildings), Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia (the state parliament), NRW Forum (a socio-economic museum) or just the meandering Rhine, the view is just breathtaking.
