A quick peek into Sachin Tendulkar’s social media will tell you what a fantastic traveller he is. He has not only showcased the most beautiful domestic and international locations, but has also brought to us the offbeat, quirky and hyper local travel.
What warms his fans’ hearts is the curiosity with which the cricket genius explores a destination and has the most fun wherever his passport takes him. It’s the beauty of these places that he so beautifully shares on his social media platforms.
Did we mention his love for food and cooking? We will delve into that too.
Here, the Master Blaster has shared some of his best travel memories from India. On the occasion of World Tourism Day (September 27), he urged his loving fans and followers to embrace the beauty of India, one of the most geographically diverse and culturally rich countries in the world. His love for food can be seen too.
Sachin has found love and peace in the wilderness, amidst trees and birds. Have you found yours yet? If not, take inspiration from this. Our favourite cricketer and traveller is here to remind us to be in touch with nature, for it is in nature we find things that are most pure and beautiful.
Do we have a wildlife photographer in the making? We hope so!

Remember what we said about the offbeat? This one is one such happy instance. Really, you can take a Mumbaikar out of Mumbai, but it is near impossible to take Mumbai out of a Mumbaikar. Here’s proof. Even in an offbeat location like Ruwanwella in Sri Lanka, Sachin has found an autorickshaw and he just can’t resist giving himself a ride. If this is not beautiful, we don’t know what is.
When in the UK, it’s all about the stunning locales and a sheep or two. Here’s him just enjoying the views by a lake and having a sweet moment with a sheep. We need to get a good dose of cuteness like this one.
When we said a wildlife photographer in the making, we were definitely serious about that. Here’s another proof of how Sachin absolutely adores the forests and its denizens. Everything's better when there are tigers around.
When you become one with the great Masai tribe and get their blessings. What an honour!
We can’t get enough of Sachin’s trip to Masai Mara. The lovely and exciting savannah welcomed our Master Blaster with some of the best of wildlife and the most charming Masai people. We are definitely adding this to our travel wishlist.

Back home, in Maharashtra’s Malwan, Sachin takes his family to the stunning setting of this farmstay. He is here to remind us how we all need to take out time to unwind from our busy schedules. What better than a cool and cosy farmstay?
Here’s a little something to keep you motivated to explore the road less travelled.
