Resting comfortably between Brienz and Thun lakes, Interlaken is more of an emotion than a destination. Its lush meadows and Alpine chalets seem to exude this perpetual glow while the lakes glitter in all their glory. The Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau stand in the background like the most protective kins you will ever see and cow bells toll in the distance, playing a sweet melody of their own. Victorian horse-drawn carriages flock one side of the street and chocolatiers own the other. Adventure enthusiasts fly like birds and swim like fishes while gluttons gorge on steaming pots of fondue. You, on the other hand, can’t help but think to yourself: what a wonderful world!
