Tourists will also need to pay more prices for visiting the Mughal heritage site. For foreign visitors, the ticket would cost Rs 1,250, while for domestic visitors, it would be Rs 400.
However, there is no restriction on the number of people entering Taj Mahal as of now, but in future there will be a cap on the number of people visiting each day. During peak tourist time, the number of tourists inside the complex crosses 60,000 to 70,000 per day.
Therefore to keep the queuing at the ticket counters in control, the opening of the ticket windows before sunrise will help tourists to avoid all the rush.
