Talvriksha is an ancient sulphur hot water spring located in Narayanpur on the Alwar Narayanpur road. It is believed by the locals that a great sage Mandava did penance here. The ancient temple of Ganga Devi and natural springs attract a lot of people to this place. However, the best time to visit this place is during monsoon where there is greenery all around.
Generally, people are seen taking a bath in the spring or feeding bajra and wheat grains to the birds here. Stray cows also roam around the place.
There are separate bathing areas for both men and women. Talvriksha is located about 45 km from Alwar. It makes for a pit stop for history lovers or for those who wish to take a break before proceeding for their faraway destination.
