Sissu village is situated on the right bank of the river Chandra (3000 m). It is a green village blessed with a huge waterfall and dense plantations of willows and poplars on both sides of the road. Sissu village is situated on the right bank of the river Chandra (3000 m). It is a green village blessed with a huge waterfall and dense plantations of willows and poplars on both sides of the road. Terrace farming is practised and entire hills are are green with potato, peas, barley and cabbage and other vegetables. There are also wild roses and other flowers of white, yellow, blue and red colours dot the landscape and mountain slopes in an unforgettable show of beauty of nature in Lahaul.
Sissu village comes between Koksar and Tandi after crossing Rohtang La.
