Tosa Maidan has a historical background too. Long ago, the Mughal rulers would pass through this destination to reach Poonch.
There are plenty of fresh water springs in Tosa Maidan; however, the spring present in Khag closeby is especially known for its curative properties.
The local 'Kothawalas' are the best providers of lodging to the tourists who visit the Tosa Maidan meadow.
