Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and couples around the world are at a lookout for the most unique celebrations. Thus, here is something that beats all celebrations. According to reports, an online marketplace for lodging and homestays is on the hunt for one lucky couple, who will have the good fortune to stay at the Casa di Giulietta in Verona, Italy. Yes, it is the famed house that is said to be Juliet’s house. This is the first time that someone would be staying there overnight since the 1930s.
Verona’s leading attraction, Casa di Giulietta is thought to be an inspiration behind the story of Romeo and Juliet. It is a museum today, and attracts thousands of people from around the world. In fact, each year people from around the world write letters to Juliet, simply writing Juliet, Verona, on the receiver’s address. All of these letters are replied by a team known as Secretaries of Juliet. Such is the craze of this historic place, and the character of Juliet.
Even though the house does not really have much going on as far as interiors are concerned, it is now being decorated just for the special occasion. You can send in your applications from January 21, until February 2. You have to share your story of love, and why you and your partner deserve this extraordinary experience.
