After an overdose of history, it’s a time to return to modernity. There are many places to unwind in downtown Beijing. High rise buildings and fancy world class hotels are a stark contrast to the ancient living quarters. The best place to observe Beijing’s relentless modernity is from Atmosphere bar, which is Beijing's highest bar at China World Summit Wing. Situated on the 80th floor of Shangri-La hotel, Atmosphere provides breathtaking views of the capital. Unwind over few cocktails overlooking the panorama of the buzzing city. Yes, it will be an expensive affair but is worth every penny. Grab a seat next to a window and pamper yourself with some exotic concoction from their extensive cocktail menu while enjoying the views. Sometimes you can catch live jazz band playing around sunset. Instead of spending 100 Yuan at CCTV building top, one can get a cocktail worth the money at Atmosphere bar, along with stunning views!Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
