Backpackers Cafe stays true to the travel cafe theme with its laid-back ambience and breezy décor. Travel pictures from all over the world lift the overall ambience a few notches. The newspaper format menu is a fun read and travel guides keep you company. The place is vibrant and abuzz with activity throughout the day and is popular for its all-day breakfast menu. You can spend hours flipping through the travel magazines, sipping your brew and making mundane conversations. The raclette, a platter of semi-cooked meat (to-be-grilled yourself), is inspiring and a fun thing to do if you have the time and stomach for it. The butter chicken burger, a Cajun twist to the classic recipe, is apparently a hot favourite with many. The masala chai is the hero among beverages. The cafe serves Italian and European/Continental cuisine. Take away facility is also available.
