A café that boasts a Volkswagen tent is a place you will want to eat, especially considering the menu here. You should know a couple of things about this Café Darak , i.e., the owner’s original name is Nauen Yun, she now goes by the name Crystal and her dream was to convert a VW bus into her kitchen. When that didn’t happen, she found a tent instead and put it into her café, along with a few other quirky items including children’s desks, lightbulbs in birdcages, record players and fake grass. Did we mention the Wi-Fi is free and there are plenty of outlets to plug in devices? The menu is housed on the chalkboard and although small, every item is delicious including the amazing turkey sandwich. Coffee is the number one star here though and choose from lattes to Americanos to regular brewed coffee. Café Darak also has an impressive list of other drinks including lemonades, tea, shakes and fruit frappes. Whether you come for one of the home-made desserts, a coffee or a little something more substantial, you won’t be disappointed.
