This is quite evident in the way the restaurant delivers an excellent culinary experience fuelled by great food, an amazing selection of wine and gorgeous views of Vitosha mountain. The outdoor patio is absolutely perfect during summer days whereas the cosy interiors are ideal for winter evenings.
Sage Bistro is a favourite among Bulgarian celebrities, ministers and other influential members of society. This is not surprising as the food here is well and truly exceptional. All items on the menu are cooked to perfection. The food is fresh and extremely flavourful. I have a soft spot for the steak, stuffed calamari and baked Parmesan with walnuts at Sage Bistro. It is perfect for a special occasion or just celebrating your trip to Sofia. Keep a lookout for seasonal promotions that offer set menus with complimentary wines at a comparatively reasonable price.
