Mother Dairy, one of the biggest milk and dairy products sellers in India, made its debut entry into the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) segment by launching its first cafe, named Cafe Delights, in Noida. The business will focus on serving a holistic and healthy food menu and special cuisine from different parts of India. The cafe will have both dine-in and takeaway facilities.
Reportedly, Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry Dairying and Fisheries, Sanjeev Kumar Balyan said that Mother Dairy’s foray into QSR business is meant to offer an unmatched dining experience with quality food choices to the consumers, and also create more opportunities for the farmers to sell their produce.
Last year, Mother Dairy took a significant step by discouraging consumers to use packaged milk, and instead use token milk to prevent increase in plastic garbage. The dairy producer has been in the business since four decades and continues to run strong.
