Tickle your taste buds with scrumptious and authentic Chinese dishes served at Mainland China, situated on Prince Anwar Shah Road. The menu comprises a mix of seafood, poultry specialities, veggie delights and desserts. The dim sums served here are worth trying, besides salt and pepper prawns and yue yang spicy barbecued fish for starters. Varieties of rice and noodles are served here including fragrant pot rice, golden garlic fried rice with iceberg lettuce, wok tossed hakka noodles and pan fried noodles. Culinary highlights from the main course are lobster in a sauce of your choice, slow fried jumbo prawns, maoshi chicken, braised sapo chicken, spicy duck in a hot pot, roast lamb in mahlak sauce and four treasure vegetables in hunan sauce, to list a few. The restaurant won’t disappoint those with sweet tooth—brownie with hot chocolate sauce and honey noodles with almond flakes are children’s favourite.
