Nestled in the courtyard of a museum in Cusco, the MAP Cafe offers delicious food in a fairy-tale setting. It is located inside a glass trailer and illuminated with candles all over. The cafe provides for a nice place to rest and enjoy a meal after visiting the museum. This small place, with its beautiful ambiance and gorgeous location, makes for one of the best meals in the city of Cusco. It is a bit expensive but the quality of the food and the overall experience are worth every penny. With a modern twist to traditional Peruvian dishes, MAP offers innovative dishes to its guests. From start to the finish, we had an amazing time enjoying the fabulously prepared food served in a very sophisticated manner. There is a large variety to choose from—meat to fish to vegetarian—and there is something for every one. They have only ten tables, so book in advance because the place is popular and remains full on most days. MAP Cafe is a must visit for anyone, who is a foodie at heart. It is no doubt one of the best restaurants in Cusco and perhaps in all of Peru.
