Naili's Place Relaxed, beachy restaurant popular with young locals

Tipple of choice: Try the 'rainbow tree', a frozen non-alcoholic cocktail of kiwi, strawberry, and mango. But don't ask them to add any booze—they don't serve it.

The surf is never going to be up, but there's sand between your toes, a mini umbrella in your drink, and surfboards on the walls. Naili's has all the ambience of a beach cafe complete with palm trees and grass roofs, even though the nearest coastal resort is more than an hour away.
This popular hangout attracts a lively young crowd with its relaxed vibe and tasty dishes. The menu features a variety of Malaysian classics like Penang fried kuey teow—a noodle dish with shrimp, chicken, egg and veggies—and Western dishes like steak and lamb, as well as pasta and pizza and fish'n'chips.
