Undoubtedly the most authentic Italian food in all of Pattaya if not all of Thailand—Trattoria Pizzeria Toscana on Beach Road will exceed your wildest expectations. Part deli, part bar, partly like stepping into Tuscany, this sprawling restaurant seats hundreds, both indoor and outdoor. With a sophisticated Italian menu including wood-fired oven pizza and homemade pasta, leaving room for dessert will be hard.Perhaps the best part is that nearly all of the food—meat, cheese, pasta, vegetables, everything except for what is marked ‘imported’ on the menu—comes from the owner’s farm outside of Pattaya! Who is this madman? Meet the Italian owner and mastermind behind Trattoria Pizzeria Toscana, Luca, originally from Pisa. Often, he can be seen at the restaurant with a smile and a warm greeting for guests, but wow if you ever catch him on a bad day (now that is entertaining)!
Recommended dish: Green Ravioli filled with guinea fowl meat and covered with parmesan cheese sauce. Be honest, your mouth is water, isn’t it?
