For those looking for fine dining, look no further than Q Haute, located in downtown Calgary. Walking in you will immediately notice the subtle and elegant décor, high ceilings and sophisticated atmosphere. It doesn’t matter where you sit in this restaurant as all seats have incredible views of Calgary’s Peace Bridge, Prince’s Island and the Bow River. The goal of this restaurant is clear; to give guests the best dining experience of your life and it is a popular wedding reception venue in the city. Head Chef Michele Aurigemma has been a part of this restaurant since its opening in 2005 and works exceptionally hard to showcase his uniquely styled French cuisine. They serve both lunch and dinner here, lunch is served as two or three courses, constantly changing but features such menu items as Alberta beef tenderloin with baked barley stuffed yellow zucchini and brined pork loin with lentil pilaf. Dinner on the other hand is either 4 or 7 courses, depending on which day of the week. Menus change seasonally and wine pairings are offered to be added on. These tasting menus are suitable for all and the chef takes allergies very seriously.
